There is a lot of hullaballoo about the sweeping revolutions across the Middle East and how “Liberty” and “Freedom” are being demanded by the people under authoritarian rule which perhaps ironically are propped up by American foreign policy. As the American people begin to cry out about higher gasoline prices that are an unintentional consequence of American Corporatism, will anyone every consider how many people had to suffer so we can haveĀ cheap gas?
Gasoline in Italy nowadays is $8 a gallon.
good point! thanks for putting it so stunningly simple.
